About Us

PlayStrong was born from lived experience — from years of fighting battles that few people saw. On the outside, I looked fine, but inside, I was struggling with depression, anxiety and the weight that never quite lifted.

Some days, just getting through felt like a fight, the 'Black Dog' never far away!

Sport became my therapy. Moving, training, even just putting on my kit — it felt like a type of armour to the outside world. It gave me purpose, structure and strength when everything else felt heavy.

That feeling inspired PlayStrong. I wanted to create apparel that does more than just looks good — clothing that reminds people of their resilience and maybe starts a conversation that helps someone else feel seen and that they are not alone.

My aim is to build a movement — not just through what people wear, but by creating a space for connection and support. PlayStrong is here to encourage, uplift, and remind us that none of us are alone in this.
